I hand carved the original design in wax trying to capture all the correct form and details of a Hereford Steer.

I raised show lambs and steers when I was in 4-H and FFA. Never raised a champion, but
when I learned how to sculpt these tiny animals, I studied champions so that I could add in all the features and elements of a champion show animal.
