Overview:

Elegant and finely detailed vintage Art Deco era amethyst & seed pearl drop necklace (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Centrally mounted faceted oval cut amethyst measures 19mm x 14mm (estimated at 10 carats), accented with six smaller amethysts that each measure 4mm x 3mm (estimated at 0.10 carats each). The total amethyst weight is estimated at 10.60 carats. The seed pearls flank the amethysts, each measuring (average) 1.5mm. The pearls are well matching and show soft rose overtones.

The pendant drop is attached to a 14 karat yellow gold curb link chain that measures 17 1/2 inches in length. The central amethyst is a rich royal purple color and offers a bold look with the surrounding seed pearls adding a softness to the look.

The necklace is in excellent original condition.
